missingWrote a review on Nov 09privacy issuespoor breakfast
stayed 2 nights and absolutely horrified by the lack of privacy, sounds from neighbors were impossible to ignore. also, the breakfast was served on a coffee table, how quaint! at least fresh milk would've been nice, but it went off quickly. I almost left a good review, but then I remembered the stairs I woudl've preferred a lift!

Edinburgh vibes with a personal touch 🇿🇦🏰
Hosts were super friendly and gave us loads of local tips. The room was spotless and comfy with lekker shortbread waiting for us. Brekkie was a feast, delivered right on time and the eggs were cooked to perfection!
Could’ve done with a tad more soundproofing, heard a bit of the neighbours chatting away.

missingWrote a review on Sept 29
Privacy can be an issue, as rooms are closely situated and noise from neighbors can seep in. The breakfast setup feels cramped since there's only a coffee table to eat on, making it less than ideal, and the layout can lead to disruptions with light and sound from the hall. There are also some signs of wear, like dated decor and a bathroom requiring repairs, which detracts from the overall experience.

The guest house is nestled in a beautiful residential neighborhood, which provides a delightful sense of tranquility. It is conveniently close to the town center, allowing me easy access to local shops and attractions. being near the coastline, I enjoyed leisurely walks with breathtaking views of the bay.
The shower water pressure could be improved for better comfort during my stay.

It was a great match for a short stint in Edinburgh with good value. The cooked breakfast was substantial and nicely prepared. Don't forget to ask for extra milk if you need it.
